Christmas Family Surprise - Santa Claus' coming to town

The best grandpa ever wanted to surprise his wife with family pictures around Christmas when the whole clan was in Charlotte, NC for the holiday. Paul thought he was being so sneaky by keeping this under wraps, but he thought he should take it one step further and surprise the whole family by calling in a favor.

The oldest granddaughter had been questioning the legitimacy of a certain man in red and white, so it was the perfect set up.

We did a full line up of family photos that the surprised grandma but then… there was a knock at the door.

Something of a “Ho, ho ho!” Could be heard in the distance and ears started perking up to see who had come to visit. Santa Claus had come to visit BEFORE Christmas. Everyone started acting as though a celebrity had walked into the room.

It was the perfect way for a grandpa to provide the best experience for his family.

This little one couldn’t stop squirming to get her shoes on.

You couldn’t stop it - the squeals of joy over took the entirety of the room :)

He’s always a little scarier in person and a little larger than you expect. Also, all the “Ho, ho ho’s” booming through the house could give anyone the right to be a little stand off-ish.
